이루어질 때 비로소 실현된다. 이러한 변화의 중심에는 차세대 친환경 냉매인 R-290(프로판)이 주목받고 있다.

R-290은 자연 유래 냉매로 전세계에서 안정적으로 공급할 수 있으며, 환경과 인체에 우려가 제기되는 PFAS(과불화화합물)를 포함하지 않는 것이 가장 큰 특징이다. 또한 기존 자동차 공조 시스템의 설계를 크게 변경하지 않고도 기존 냉매를 대체할 수 있어, 자동차 제조사들이 보다 현실적이고 경제적으로 친환경 냉매로 전환할 수 있는 대안으로 평가 받고 있다.

이러한 시장 변화에 발맞춰 VENTREX는 R-290 전용 저투입(Low-Investment) 충전 밸브를 개발했다.

이 제품은 밸브 코어와 외부 씰이 사전 조립된 충전 포트 형태로 공급되어 조립성을 높이는 동시에  

시스템 신뢰성을 향상 시킨 것이 특징이다.

특히 R-290은 가연성 냉매인 만큼 안전성이 무엇보다 중요하다.  

VENTREX는 누설을 최소화하는 고기밀 설계를 적용해 차량 수명 동안 냉매 손실을 최소화 하고 화재 

위험을 낮추는데 주력했다. 이를 통해 최대 수준의 안전성을 확보하는 동시에 유지 보수 비용 절감과 환경 부담 감소라는 두가지 효과를 동시에 실현했다.

VENTREX의 R-290 밸브는 PFAS-Free는 물론 Lead-Free(무연) 설계를 적용해 자동차 냉각회로,

열 관리모듈(Thermal Management Module), 히트 펌프 시스템 등 차세대 차량 열 관리분야에 최적화된 솔루션으로 평가받고있다.

VENTREX의 경쟁력은 제품 개발에만 머물지 않는다.  

회사는 30년이상 축적해 온 자동차 냉매 밸브 기술을 바탕으로 SAE International 산하 실내 기후 제어 표준 위원회의 MAC Supplier Committee에서 활동하며, 미래 자동차 공조 시스템의 국제 기술 표준과 엔지니어링 기준 수립에도 기여하고 있다.
